We hope you have enjoyed reading this history of the Bracher family in Australia, and especially the family’s evolution in Melbourne and Bendigo, Victoria.

 

It has been compiled from a variety of primary and secondary sources, most of which were gathered by my aunt, the late Audrey Ware (nee Bracher), over a 60 year period.

 

Like any family history, it is an evolving story. This story finishes with the death of George Henry Bracher in 1945. The story of the next generation of the family will be added some time in the future.

 

Although we have attempted to be as accurate as possible, there may be some things that need re-writing or clarifying. Please don’t hesitate to let me know.
